After Karakis, a Chinese shadow animation, Memory of the Shadow, my first long-mirage animation, and my claymation experiment with Joha, I thought it was time to revisit the traditional with the old pencil and paper and a classic story of the imagination.

The inspiration behind this 13-minute program is to expose the amazing North African cuisine for what it is: delicious! The folklore of the Native Culture and Art is typically the only exposure that an outsider experiences of North African culture, so my intention was to modernize the setting and give a taste of what it is all about which can be experienced in any kitchen the world over.
